Pallets are invented to protect goods from breaking under common situations and provide a method to sort out the goods. It is widely used in factories, airports, and other places that have a lot of items to store. Wooden pallet is popular among pallets.

What is a pallet, and what can it do?

It is a platform upon which goods are stacked and wrapped for transportation or storage. Pallets may be made of wood, plastic, or other materials and are built to make them convenient for forklifts to carry. Take a wooden pallet as an example. It consists of several wooden bars connected to each other as the frame, with more bars or a board attached to the top as the surface on which the freight is placed.

Types of pallets

As what has already been mentioned, other than wooden pallets, there is the plastic pallet, which is light and economical and comes in different colors; aluminum pallet, which is heavy but stable and provides strong protection; paper pallet, which doesn't weigh much but as durable, and is also recyclable; bamboo pallet, which is another type of pallets made of plants and eco-friendly; PVC pallet, of which the material is similar to the plastic pallet but in different shape. PVC pallets are soft materials. One wraps the goods up with this pallet to provide shock absorption. From the perspective of the formation, there are compressed pallets, single-faced pallets, and double-sided pallets. The compressed one is not bars connected but an entire piece made of compressed wood or paper. For customers who intend to deliver barrels containing fluid and worry about the potential leak, leakproof pallets are a solution. Pallets are reusable, which makes buying used pallets and selling them when no longer needed a reasonable and economic choice. This way, everybody is making a contribution to mother earth.
