About products and suppliers

Welding wire is a metal wire welding material used as a filler metal or both as a conductive material. In gas welding and tungsten gas-shielded arc welding, the welding wire can be used as a filler metal. In submerged arc welding, electric slag welding, and other gas-shielded arc welding, the welding wire is the filler metal and the conductive electrode. The surface of it is not coated with anti-oxidation flux.

The Classification of Welding Wires

Welding Wire types vary according to the material and purpose, mainly including MIG welding wire, flux core welding wire, automatic welding wire, and aluminum welding wire.

MIG welding wire is commonly used in gas-shielded welding, with the most common being argon arc welding wire. Argon arc welding wire has good conductivity and a high melting point, making it suitable for welding materials such as aluminum alloys. In addition, there are CO2 welding wires suitable for welding low-carbon steel. Flux core welding wire is a type of welding wire that is filled with flux inside the wire. It can be divided into two kinds based on the type of flux: nongas shielded flux cored wire and gas shielded flux cored wire. Gas shielded flux cored welding wire is generally used for welding iron parts, while flux core welding wire is suitable for welding materials such as aluminum alloys and stainless steel.

Automatic welding wire is a type of welding wire used in automated welding equipment, characterized by small diameter, fast welding speed, and high weld quality. Automatic welding wire is suitable for large workpieces with high welding quality requirements, such as automotive manufacturing, shipbuilding, etc. Aluminum welding wire is a tool for welding aluminum and aluminum alloys. According to different needs, welding wire can be divided into pure aluminum welding wire, aluminum-silicon alloy welding wire, and aluminum-magnesium alloy welding wire. Aluminum welding wire has good conductivity and thermal conductivity and is suitable for welding aluminum products.

The Purpose of Welding Wire

Welding wire, as a commonly used welding material, is widely used in various fields. Welding wire is commonly used for welding metal structures, such as steel structures, bridges, pressure vessels, etc. Different types of welding wires can achieve welding of different metal materials according to the different welding materials. Welding wire plays a crucial role in pipeline welding. By selecting appropriate welding wires, welding of various pipeline materials can be achieved, such as stainless steel pipes, copper pipes, iron pipes, etc. Welding wire is widely used in automobile manufacturing, for welding components such as car bodies, chassis, and engines. Automatic welding wire has been widely used in automobile manufacturing, which can improve production efficiency and welding quality.

Welding wire also plays a crucial role in the manufacture of electronic devices, such as the welding of electronic components and circuit boards. In these applications, it is required to have small welding points and beautiful welds, so it is necessary to choose appropriate welding wires. Welding wire is also commonly used in home decoration, such as forges, stainless steel products, etc. By selecting different types of welding wires, it is possible to weld household products of different materials, making them more sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. In addition to the uses mentioned above, welding wire is also widely used in various fields such as shipbuilding, air conditioning manufacturing, and power equipment manufacturing.
