About products and suppliers

UV400 sunglasses are must-have fashion items, and they also provide essential protection for the eyes. UV 400 sunglasses come in different styles such as aviators, oversized, retro, or classic tortoiseshell designs.

The importance of UV400 sunglasses

UV rays or ultraviolet rays are electromagnetic radiation emitted by the sun. They cannot be seen by human eyes and are harmful to both the eyes and the skin. These UV rays consist of two harmful rays. One is UVA rays, which are common and have been linked to the development of cataracts and macular degeneration. The other is UVB rays, which help boost human vitamin D levels but is the prime cause of sunburn. Sunglasses with a UV400 mark are able to protect the eyes from harmful ultraviolet light rays, blocking wavelengths up to 400 nanometers, including UVA and UVB rays. Children are at higher risk for UV-induced eye damage because they are likely to spend more time outside. It is possible for UV protection sunglasses 400 to come in dark lenses, but not all sunglasses with dark lenses are considered UV-protection sunglasses. If those sunglasses with dark lenses don't include UV400 protection, they are actually worse for the eyes because the dark tint can cause the pupils to dilate, exposing the eyes to more UV light.

The difference between UV400 sunglasses and UV400 polarized sunglasses

Just like sunglasses with UV 400 protection, UV400 polarized sunglasses can also protect eyes from UV rays. The only difference is that a pair of UV 400 polarized sunglasses usually consist of polarized lenses with a special coating. They help to eliminate or reduce glare from sunlight and light reflecting off the surface of the water and other horizontal surfaces.

UV400 sunglasses for adults and children

Women's UV 400 sunglasses are in great demand, and UV 400 sunglasses for men and children are also available. As parents get a chance to deepen their knowledge of UV rays, UV400 glasses for children are becoming more popular in recent years, especially given the fact that children are more likely to spend more time outside.
